Nolan Machernis, MD is an interventional cardiologist that is board-certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine.
After receiving a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Machernis attended medical school at Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo. He completed his internal medicine residency through the Jacobs School as well, then went on to complete four years of specialized training through additional fellowships in interventional cardiology and cardiovascular medicine at Aurora Health Care in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
On top of his extensive education and training, Dr. Machernis has almost a decade of clinical experience as an interventional cardiologist, working in both inpatient and outpatient settings in Buffalo and the greater Milwaukee area. He specializes in coronary angiography, complex coronary interventions, peripheral vascular angiography/interventions, as well as ECG, stress test, and echocardiography interpretation.
Dr. Machernis is also currently the Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at his Great Lakes Cardiovascular office in Niagara Falls.
